Sontara® -Rolls: Overview

SONTARA® spunlaced fabrics are made using a proprietary nonwoven technology, the essence of which is a water needling process. High-speed water jets are used to hydraulically entangled polyester and pulp fibres to form a strong absorbent web.

Unlike many nonwoven fabrics, SONTARA® uses no binders, chemicals or adhesives.

It has exceptional mechanical strength, excellent absorbency and because the fibres are actually washed during fabric formation, it exhibits very low lint.
